Cars are not only a sign of status, but are proud accomplishments for car owners. And
Alfa Romeo are a brand that have always been synonymous with luxury and concept, as well as being grand and loved by British motorists.
But in current years they have taken a back seat to other luxury and super car producers like Ferrari and McLaren, but their new offering could see them catapulted back into the forefront of car design.

The Alfa Romeo 4C |
The Alfa Romeo 4C will be showcased at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July, and is hoped that the vehicle, with its carbon fibre and aluminium body will throw the brand back to their glory days of car production. it was well received at the Geneva Motor show earlier on in the year, and therefore the car designers feel it is only a matter of time before it is embraced by the rest of the world. The change in material will mean that the car weighs less than eight hundred and fifty kilogram's which will put it into the same bracket as a Lotus Elise, and it is therefore able to hit speeds of sixty two miles per hour in less than five seconds.

The Alfa Romeo 4C |
It mimics the Porsche Cayman in terms of weight distribution as the main engine will be mounted in the centre of the car, and it has an excellent fuel economy thanks to the two clutch automatic transmission that it offers.
It is yet to be confirmed how many of this vehicle will be produced, and it seems that this might be negated on the reception at the festival of speed, but it is thought that the price tag will be around forty five thousand pounds, which is fairly small for a supercar in this range.
The car will be expensive to insure as supercars are generally harder to price and have more risk, but if you are driving on the roads in the UK and are driving a regular street car, then make sure you go online for Car Insurance to save yourself time and money in the long run, that can be put towards a brand new supercar!
